The Carrollwood Twin theatres opened on November 27th, 1974 with Walter Matthau in “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three” and Joseph Bottoms in “The Dove”. It was located adjacent to Bengies Drive-In. It was closed on August 22, 1984 with “Muppets Take Manhattan” & Richard Mulligan in “Meatballs II”. It was owned by Vogal Theatres.
