The Pioneer Hotel was open by 1900 and a remodeling in 1910 added a movie theater. Walter J. Godley was the proprietor of the theatre, planned by architects Hay and Bradley which, was said to seat from 700 to 800.
By 1923 Sanborn Maps show the movie theatre gone with the Pioneer Hotel remaining.
Today’s location would be on the site of US Bank.
