Little is known about the New Rink Cinema. It was most likely a conversion of a former skating rink (Ice? or Roller?). It was listed in the 1937 edition of Kinematograph Yearbook for 1937 as being operated by Alfred Black, head of the Black’s Theatres circuit. No further details were given.
