Located in the north of the center of New Orleans. The Arcade Theatre was opened in mid-June 1911. It was first operated by the Arcade Amusement Co. It presented vaudeville & movies and was equipped with an organ (make unknown). It is possible that for a time following the ending of World War I in 1918 that it was renamed Victor Theatre, and had gone back to the Arcade Theatre name by 1926. It was operated by the New Orleans based United Theaters Inc. chain. It had 960-seats. By 1941 it was listed with 1,148-seats.

It was destroyed by fire on November 2, 1944. Housing now occupies the site.
