Theater

This small theater appears on the 1909 Sanborn. It was located in a large two story commercial building that contained numerous storefronts. The building was constructed sometime before 1896, when the map shows a saloon at this address.

The theater appears to have closed before 1914-15, as it is not listed in the AMPD. This was a rather marginal neighborhood, and the 1939 map shows this building apparently replaced or extensively remodeled.
