Located in the Mac’s Building on Ellice Avenue, in the Spence district to the west of Downtown. The 380-seat Mac’s Theatre was opened as a movie theatre in 1913. By 1941 it was operated by Western Theaters Ltd. and was still operated by them in 1950. It later became the Cinema 3 which was still operating in 2002. Closed as a movie theatre (date unknown).
By 2007 it had become a live theatre named Ellice Theatre which operated until around 2022. Since at least 2025 it has operated as the Gargoyle Theatre.
