Theater

This theater appears on the 1912 Sanborn.It was located in a small two story brick storefront constructed sometime between 1897 and 1905, when the map shows bicycles sold here.

Despite being rather shallow, there was a tiny stage at the rear. This theater appears to have closed by 1914-15, as it is not listed in the AMPD.

The building today is in decent shape, with a tacky ‘old country’ remodel to the ground floor. It was a clothing store, but seems to be vacant.
