Located in the Murdock Building, the first Lyric Theatre was opened on March 1, 1908 with “The Prodigal Son”. It was closed in 1926 when the new (second Lyric Theatre) opened at 206 E. Main Street (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

Uploaded a photo of the Lyric from an online walking tour site. However the site says the opening was 1905.
Although the theatre was at 114 the free standing box office can be seen next door.
