Nearby Theaters
Dawson during the 1930s hosted three theatres, the Lee, the Joy and the Ritz, later called the Martin. The city was alleged to have had celebrities such as Clark Gable in attendance for various screening as well. As of 2026, none exist within the city limits. The Lee is believed to has lasted the longest, closing it’s doors during the 1970s.
