It seems as though the website is no more, however they do maintain a Facebook presence:

The Tilghman Square has recently received a major upgrade, with the outside completely repainted and resigned along with upgrade on the interior as well. It appears the AMC Tilghman 8 will be around for a while.

As per their website, “The Boyd Theatre is currently closed for repairs and restoration.” There is no further information. I hope this isn’t a bad sign for the Boyd.

As reported on its own website, the Capitol Theater is once again closed. It’s a true shame this gem can’t be successfully operated.

A very cute place although showing its age. It’s also a bit odd that the screens are placed at an angle, with the projection booth being in the center of the original non-twinned theater so that the movie is displayed corner to corner in the rooms rather than center back to center front as in most theaters.

The “missing” two theaters are back. The wall bordering the theaters and the store next door was partially destroyed in the fire. The two theaters were rebuilt and recently reopened.

It’s open, showing first run movies and operated by Regal as always.

Sadly this is more than just a buckle in the roof as the previous article implies. The chances of this being repaired in a month’s time seem pretty slim looking at these photos: View link

Well, the money isn’t there and the location isn’t the most desirable. With the new businesses located at the south end of town it was a wise decision not to go forward. At it stands, the Showboat is a friendly local theater with great popcorn!

Is there any recent hope for this gem? It truly is a beauty!

This theater doesn’t have nearly the atmosphere as Har-Mar, the theater it replaced. It is nice but nothing special, just another cookie cutter theater.

wisdoug commented about Har-Mar 11 Cinemas on Dec 12, 2008 at 1:03 am

There is no sign of the Har-Mar Theaters remaining. The front 3 theaters are now a Staples store, the back are just a big empty shell. History disappeared in a hurry here.

This is the latest news on the Hollywood, Tami:

There seems to be no real plan for the future and there has been no activity there in 2007 as far as I know.

A federal government building now occupies this spot. A lovely building but still hard to replace the memories.

This theater remains shuttered with questions about it being maintained properly. It would be a shame to lose this art deco palace, but time is ticking.

The Polson Showboat has plans to expand to 4 theaters sometime around Spring 2008.

wisdoug commented about Strand Theatre on Jul 19, 2007 at 6:01 pm

The Strand is still a Signature Theatre, not part of the sale to Regal. It will close this summer as a new Signature opens north of the city. There are no future plans for the building.

wisdoug commented about Liberty Theatre on Jul 19, 2007 at 5:59 pm

The Liberty is still a Signature Theatre, not part of the sale to Regal. It will close when Signature opens its new 14 screen complex at Hutton Ranch. There is a strong possibility that the Liberty will be used for live theater in the future.

Also, this theater will close later this summer as Signature will open a new 14 screen location at Hutton Ranch Plaza on the north end of the city.

wisdoug commented about Signature Theatres Gateway Cinema on Jul 19, 2007 at 5:51 pm

The Gateway Cinema is actually a 6 screen cinema and was not part of the sale to Regal. It along with the other Kalispell theatres is still owned and operated by Signature.
