The Vernon Palace Theatre, formerly located at 5704 Germantown Avenue, is one few of us, if any, would have known as it was only in existance from 1912-1914. I have found almost nothing on this theatre other than it was purchased in 1913 by a Matthew Adam, a member of the Germantown Poor Board. This theatre would have been located on the west side of Germantown Avenue, right next to Vernon Park. This theatre is not to be confused with the Vernon Theatre, which was located at 5508 Germantown Avenue (originally known as the Germantown Theatre).
