The Lyric Theatre was opened by April 1904. It was operated by A.L. Gorlin. In 1912 he built an open-air theatre next to the Lyric Theatre and it was named Lyric Annex Theatre. Seating for the Annex Theatre was on long wooden benches. The Lyric Theatre was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory. It had closed by 1926.
