Located above a small mall in Orleans. The Cineplex Odeon Orleans Town Centre 6 Cinemas was opened on December 15, 1989. There is very little rake in the floor of the auditoriums.
It was closed on December 17, 2009 and replaced by a larger complex. It was re-opened on December 2, 2011 as the Mayfair Theatre Orleans. Now equipped with digital, as well as 35mm projection equipment.
The Mayfair Theatre Orleans was closed on February 14, 2013, when the lease was terminated by the landlord. On July 12, 2013 it was taken over by CineStarz. It was closed on September 26, 2023 due to end of lease and non-payment of rent. It has since reopened by York Cinemas.

The theatre’s status should be closed since it was replaced by a newer and bigger multiplex nearby.
Thsi location has been taken over by the “Mayfair Orleans” which occupies 3 of the 6 screens.
This theatre was one of the very crappy original CINEPLEX theatres built by Garth Drabinsky.

This cinema closed on September 26, 2023. CinéStarz’s lease ended in June, and the theatre permanently closed after talks with the management company to extend the lease ended. A notice on the entrance door says the company owes $80,000 for outstanding rent.
This cinema opened on December 15, 1989, with the following films: “Back to the Future Part II,” “Prancer,” “The Wizard,” “Dad,” “The War of the Roses,” and “She-Devil.” Cineplex sold the cinema to Empire Theatres on September 30, 2005, to address antitrust concerns following Cineplex’s acquisition of Famous Players. Empire closed the cinema on the evening of December 17, 2009, with its final films including “Ninja Assassin,” “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” (moved to the new Orleans cinema), “The Blind Side,” “2012” (moved to the new Orleans cinema), “Old Dogs,” and “Pour Toujours, les Canadiens!” It reopened on December 2, 2011, as the Mayfair Theatre Orleans, with a lineup featuring “Gone with the Wind,” “The Help,” “Midnight in Paris,” and “Drive.” Only three of its six screens were reopened. Mayfair closed the cinema again on February 14, 2013, closing with “Lincoln,” “Les Misérables,” “Argo,” “The Impossible,” “Life of Pi,” and “The Last Stand.” CinéStarz reopened the cinema on July 12, 2013, opening with “Epic,” “Louis Cyr l'Homme le Plus Fort au Monde,” “Now You See Me,” and “Fast & Furious 6.” At some point, the cinema re-opened the remaining three screens, operating with six screens once again. As of now, the cinema has been re-opened by the same owners as York Cinemas in Richmond Hill and Garden City Cinemas in Winnipeg.
