Moore’s Theatre was opened in 1913. It was still named Moore’s Theatre in 1943. It was renamed Roxy Theatre in 1944. It was closed on November 13, 1983 with Rick Moranis in “Strange Brew”.
The theatre was demolished and it became a vacant site. In September 2020 plans were approved to build a four story 87 unit condominium building on the site

Renamed Roxy Theatre in 1944. Odeon Theatres Canada last operated the theater (under the Canadian Odeon branding at the time) and closed on November 13, 1983 with “Strange Brew”.
