The Bladen Theatre opened as early as 1929, and closed on July 14, 1946 when the Rowe Theatre opened nearby.
After a few years of darkness, it was renovated, and reopened as the Clark Theatre located in the old Bladen Theatre building opened its doors on March 13, 1950 with William Powell in “Dancing In The Dark” (unknown if extras added). It was a short-lived venue, and the Clark Theatre closed in 1955.
