St. Hugh's Hall

Located in the city centre. St. Hugh’s Hall is owned by the Catholic Church and is located adjacent to St. Hugh’s Church at the corner of Friars Lane. It was screening films by February 1910 when it was recorded that “inmates of the Lincoln Workhouse viewed the performance at the popular ‘Picture Hall’ on Monks Road”. It was closed around 1911. St. Hugh’s Church is still in use in 2023 and the St. Hugh’s Hall is still part of the church property.
